Revenue Model

As with any company, how we make revenue is an important factor for any investor to be aware of, below we clearly spell out our sources of revenue.

Importantly, as discussed, all crypto-based revenue from game projects is paid directly to the DAO. Other streams of revenue will be used to fund operations and any excess will be converted and deposited into the DAO.

Game Sales

Unlike other crypto projects, we don't plan to gate keep access to our games from anyone. Like other crypto projects, we will of course have rarer blockchain-based items that're one of a kind, but every game we develop is strictly designed to be open to everyone - with players able to acquire assets to play the game at a reasonable price (we estimate between $10-$60, average game prices, based on the investment of the games we produce)

These purchased assets essentially act as a license (that is transferable!) to access our games and will be available for purchase at any time (after initial mint-out)

Subscriptions

In order to fund continued development and support for our games, we will offer subscription plans within our game, payable in crypto, that enable our dedicated players to access extra content, while keeping the core gameplay free to users who own our game assets.

In order to reward our early adopters, we will likely include these premium subscriptions to their assets, free of charge, indefinitely!

Micro-transactions / Cosmetics

It may be possible for us to sell cosmetic items within our games to net extra revenue, payable in crypto - we will never sell items that give players an unfair advantage in gameplay!

Asset Resales

This category is broken into 2 segments, creator earnings and token resales.

Creator Earnings

When our assets are sold on the secondary market, it's possible for us to earn a small percentage of that sale as creator earnings, this has proven to be a significant source of revenue in other projects, and we expect the same for us. To be fair to our users, we expect to keep this relatively low at 3%.

Token Resales

Our games are designed to have token sinks as users play our games and spend within our games, these tokens are items that we can resale on the open market in exchange for currency, leading to a cyclical market we can profit from.

Merchandise

We expect to generate revenue selling merchandise with our brands or by selling the rights for others to do so.

Events

Ideally, we'd love to build a company with a sufficiently large player base to warrant the creation of public events, shows, conventions, etc. During these events, we can even revenue by working with partners, selling tickets/passes to users, and much more!
